Many times, cruelty cases are not prosecuted because neighbors and witnesses are unwilling to talk to the police. While it is not necessary for you to give your name during the reporting of animal cruelty, cooperating with the authorities may help to ensure that the people responsible for the cruelty are prosecuted. |
